As far as I know: The 60 was Yellow. The 55, 75, 85, 85s and the 95 (electric) were all white.

The only difference between them was the fact that they were side discharge mowing decks with the exception of the 85s. That one had a bagger system discharge. The engines also had different hp ratings. The 60 was the only one with a Tecumseh motor. The rest had B&S motors with, of course, the exception of the 95 that was all electric.

I agree with you, that red sure does look pretty. The decal issue is another matter. TractorData shows the 85 with the blue strip. I can't help you much on that. My first suspicion is that if the mower was originally white, the red strip and the "special" decals were strictly for the 85s. The photo with the blue stripe might have been ordered for an 85 and he/she ordered a set for the 85s in order to get the "special" decal. Just guessing with my two pennies.

That red stripe might just blend in with the red if you, being the paint guru, match it up.
