Sometime around 1996, at the age of 15, I went with my parents to an auction a couple miles down the road. The estate owner also owned the local International truck and tractor dealer, which was located 1.5 miles in the other direction. Present at the auction was a Farmall A, M, H, cub original, a 1250, and tons of toy tractors. I assume I was being an annoying teenager when my stepmom told my dad to go bid on a toy tractor for me. Long story short, my dad dropped $500 on the original that the estate owner had since new in 62 for me. I mowed with it a few times but it mostly just pulled the yard cart around. I still have it 22 years later but it hasnt ran in 10 years or so. When I needed a rider for regular grass duty nothing but a cub felt right. I ended up finding a 1 owner 1641 "mechanics special" on CL and love it.
