The tank should have a male fitting comingout of it. New sediment bowl should be female. No fittings needed.

The tires are the same size that you listed. They don't make a 16.5x6.50-8. Someone typed wrong.
The ply rating doesn’t affect height. Not a noticeable amount anyway. 4ply is the usual ply rating.

Mesh. No tractor had a solid cover. That's an aftermarket replacement.
