I don't personally know that much about the newer Cubs. I am glad you found the parts (or kit) you were looking for. 
You are right, generally speaking, a kit would be less money than the individual parts within. Looks like you got the better end of that deal before someone at MTD figures that one out. :biggrin2.gif:
