yes the breather can leak pretty bad.

I get all my gaskets from my local Simplicity dealer. they're usually the same prices as on line.

this is what my 2084 engine looked like when I got it. it was leaking from both the breather and the crank seal. it had 1285 hours on it and I don't think that any part of the tractor had ever been washed.
