I very much agree with you.. I have worked on Jeeps my whole life.. the last 25 years for a living.. I joined a few Jeep pages on Facebook... I don't know everything but I have picked up quite a few tips and tricks over my years.. I had to quit posting for the same reason you said.. I found my blood pressure on the rise.. I would genuinely try to help people and basically get slapped in the face.. 
I do see some really nice stuff on Facebook and have made some good contacts. but most of it is pure garbage!
I like OCC much better! Great group here! I hope it continues to be a great place to share and relax!
