KT17 Condenser
The KT series condenser 52-147-01-S (aka 52-755-13-S) has two wires vs. the K series condenser 23-0722-S which has one wire. I may need to replace the one-wire condenser on my CC682 with a KT17 Series I engine which worked fine for the five years I've owned this Cub. Right now the engine doesn't start though the points are arcing but no spark at the spark plugs. I haven't yet done an electrical check of the coil. But a new condenser would be easiest and least expensive part to replace.
The wiring schematic doesn't show a second wire from the condenser. Is there a reason why I should use the two-wire condenser (different capacitance?), and where does the second wire go?
