I park my truck and my wife's car in the garage too. It's necessary for things to be organized/clean, or it ain't all gonna fit.
My truck fits a foot of the rear of the garage wall and a foot off the door when it's closed (4DR 5'8" bed Silverado) it fits but just barely. Better than leaving it outside.
