You know..... I wonder if you could use the same engine mount as a 1050 in a 800/1000/1200 QL and have better results. 
Everyone always whines about the solid mount set up when converted.

I don't know why Cub didn't use the 1050 style mount in all the tractors. My 1050 is the smoothest single cylinder tractor I have.
