Yeah.... someone was messing with that filter housing. Still looks to me like they were trying to feed the crankcase vent into the carb. Absolutely no idea why..... and I would definitely get another air filter lid.

I don't know, there's no where to connect the other end of it, no other fitting...
At least I get to steal some parts, the front spindle, the float button for the lift, the rim with 2 original not-aftermarket bearings, etc.
I ended up pulling the right front tire off and throwing it on the 1250. the rim off the 1250 has one aftermarket bearing which is smaller than the original one and ends up falling out, and the other original bearing has the center part blown out. Tire was riding right on the spindle, so now that's ruined. Tire I threw on the 1250 also looks about 3 minutes away from death.
