No more waiting for cool weather to kill doe. Around our area, the deer population has been getting so far over populated, more doe need to be harvested to reduce the population.
Well our best time is early season, September into October. But it's been so warm lately (Global Warming
) that if you're to harvest one, you have to butcher it that night, or risk wasting the animal, and we don't roll that way.
So Nancy and I decided to buy a cooler, and start dropping some animals early. It'll work good for bear hunting as well. It'll hold two deer easily, and up to #600. They are portable, and set up in less than 15 minutes. Operates on standard 110V electric and only requires a 15 amp service.
I'm sure that people in our area find out we have a cooler, we'll have friends we didn't even know we had.
