Not sure how a '97 tractor could have started the compact tractor craze but Simplicity tractors in general are well built, I dont see alot of Simplicity branded ones around here but I find alot of Allis Chalmers which is the same thing. I have a 718 in the shop now and Im picking up a 712 this weekend, and my fav mower is a Deutz Allis which is also a Simplicity machine.
$2100 is a bit much for that 75th edition imo but around here it would sell for more than most any comparable tractor, except maybe a Case or JD, a comparable Cub wouldnt bring much more than $1000-$1200cad
