Who've said that thrower was in good shape, better look again. Auger is folded over in several places, and it's obvious it's ate a lot of rock.

I don't think you could buy a new K series, even in 2001. Pretty sure it would have to have been a rebuild, or hold over. Mag engines replaced the K's as a replacement engine by then. Even if it was a "new" engine, it's now 17 years old and irrelevant really. That said, it's probably worth $1000 assuming the tiller is included, and isn't sitting outside under a tree.

OP says there is no tiller in the thread starter.......
