I agree, I am completely reliant on the brake returning me to neutral. The hand control is no longer hooked up, removed actually. Yes please post the spring set up you saw. If I recall there was one spring pulling forward while another pulling back.
My set up not the safest no doubt. But it is very handy- left hand for steering right hand for loader. My foot was doing nothing before and now takes the place of my 3rd hand
eventually I’ll get around to gettin springs on mine.
