My guess is the original one just worked out the way it did due to convenience. It worked well as is... I think they built it 1-1 ratio. SO that means they ran in full throttle to run the gen set at 3600. I want to run my engine at about 2500 RPM or so. I will have to run an overdrive pulley to achieve that. Preliminary math is looking like a 3.5" pulley will work.
