Default Truck Hitch Mounted Skinning Post

I saw one of these for sale a while back and figured it would be a pretty simple project. I made just a few slight changes to the one I saw for sale. I had some 2" square tubing lying around so it worked out rather nicely. I made the gambrel from some of my wifes yard art (some Christmas decorations that she hopefully won't miss) All I have in this is the winch that I got at Harbor Freight for $23. I still need to put two wheels in the upper tube to guide the cable, and I need to grind some of the welds flush and of course primer and paint. I also need to join the two sections (upper and lower). I plan to join them with a piece of round stock (1.75" diameter!!!!). I'll weld the stock inside the lower square tube and leave about 6" sticking out so I can slide the upper section over it. Plan is to have a pin that secures the upper tube to the round stock coming out of the lower tube. Reason for the round stock is so that I can swing the top portion around in four postions. This should allow to skin the deer and then swing him into my truck bed. The only concern here is whether or not the round stock will contact the inside of the tube enough to provide good upright support. We shall see. Anyway, let me know your thoughts/suggestions/criticism. If you have one of these you have bought, what improvements would you make to it or the one you see I am working on below?

Cheers.
