Got me some hoses crimped up this morning at the local hydraulics shop.. fortunately I know the guys and they let me bring a handful of fittings home and mock everything up.. just had to go back this morning and get them crimped. all that worked out good.. Took the old driveshaft and threw it in the trusty South Bend.. turned the front of it down so it would fit in my 1/2 inch Milwaukee drill (driveshaft was already ruined on the front from a worn out ball bushing).. reversed the drill, powered everything up ... and much to my disbelief it all worked!! .. so far none of my home brewed tubing and flaring is leaking! Tested the hydro, the lift and the steering.. all seems good! I had never run this thing before.. engine was not even bolted in when I got it.. I was just assuming the pump was ok... and it seems to be.. I'm going in happy tonite! I'll run it some more tomorrow and check for leaks again... I gotta have one somewhere!
