Default Walnut trees

Ok not the trees themselves but actual walnuts. My yard has a bunch of walnut trees. At least 75% of my trees are walnut.
I need a method of picking them up, so I’m asking those who have a good way to do it. Do you use a trac vac, pull type rake, a rear mount rock- rake( like a blade) or what. I have an old 125 with a trac vac but would have to get both engines running because have ran either in years. Not saying I can’t but if somebody says it’s not going to work then I not going to waste my time.
I don’t want to use these nuts for anything but they are taking a toll on my blades.
