Your climate is a bit different John. It's October, and he's up near the Great Lakes. If it hasn't frosted yet, it will soon. We'll likely have a frost here in the next 2-3 weeks, and I'm further south than he is! NOBODY sprays Round Up in the fall here. We do put down some fall chemical for corn ground, but guys here are pretty careful about it because if we have a wet spring, you can't switch to beans or they won't come up. You have to go to sorghum, and no one here likes raising that awful stuff.


Grass here is winding down if nothing else due to the shortening days. It will grow as long as it's warm enough, but it grows slow.
