And yes, there are two sides to every story. His side goes like this: He has no idea why he was put in time out. When someone gets put in time out, they get a notification with a reason. There was no reason this time. So as I said earlier...petty.

I have a friend like that, he has photographic memory, and he can tell me the exact day and time something happened 20 years ago, in minute detail. Smart as a whip. I have tried to argue with him sometimes and it's just like arguing with a robot. I don't anymore, because I know he's probably always right.
