Know it alls can’t be told otherwise. I’ve posted things I wanted to do or was doing, and been verbally beaten down with facts but still tried it anyway until I saw for myself. It’s a tough pill to swallow when you’re someone who is determined to do what they want to do and have a hard time taking advice against doing that thing (me), especially blunt force advice. I’ve gone many many rounds with j-mech on here, on a variety of topics, and he has even questioned how much land I actually mow (I would think I am an expert on how much land I mow). I’ve learned to just stay on topic and do plenty of research before posting anything, don’t try crazy stuff like building a Frankenstein tractor out of spare parts just because, and everything is much better for me.
So, even though this ain’t twitter, #freejmech I’m sure he’s a good guy under that hard shell.
