Jon's pointed out a few of those things to me, right out in the open, for all to see/// seemingly not in such an animated way he seems to with others for some reason, (Don't start now, Jon) but when he's right he's right...
many other forums when a question gets asked for the 1500th time the next person to respond says something like "this has been talked about here before.... did you search before asking?" I don't see as much of that here. Yet as I scrolled 50-some pages of that section before I found what I was looking for, I saw many repeated questions over and over..... and usually its Jon answering that question-again.

I have met him in person once in a parking lot on the side of the road to make a parts swap, and he's really busy.... IDK how he is able to have the time to answer so many questions like he does... with everything else he gets himself into. IDK if his being "short" is other influences outside this site aggravating him and he "takes it out" here or what... I can see from an observer of SOME (definitely not all) of the posts he is a part of as to why he'd get aggravated with someone, especially ones I'm not involved in.
but that day that I met him on the side of the road, if I wasn't heading elsewhere after that meeting and he didn't have a place to be himself, that we could have gone into the restaurant (I think it was a DQ parking lot we were at) and spent hours there talking about trucks, tractors and more.

As far as him being on "time out," as of yesterday when I was here I think we were thru most of 3 pages of this thread... and now we are on what... 5 maybe 6 now? after I read the thread to that point I went and dug thru many old posts looking for two-ton's clutch jig and every time I passed a post that Jon had made,(some quite old) in searching for that info, the "green light" was on saying he was online. so is it the admins that put him on time out or is he just busy with whatever he does outside of here?
From my understanding, When in "time out" you can still log on and read. Just cant post. Not sure if you can get or send PM's either.
