Thank you for that info! I also tried to use a 1641 plate.. which has the same part number as an 1864 plate.. it's supposed to work.. I could tell where the Briggs was mounted.. I used the other set of holes.. which fit the Kohler perfect.. who knows.. glad to hear that you had the same issue.. makes me feel better!

Looks like I have some drilling to do! I will either move the holes back one inch like Stan stated or take the old KT plate and come 3/4 forward from the slots like you and others have done..

Just to find the time now!
