Well, didn't have time to let it run for a while to see if it fixed it, but Tim takes the lead with his guess. Here is a couple shots of the condenser wire and the wire going to the points. The condenser was BARELY attached to the coil. I also ran a new wire to the switch. Don't know if this was the problem but it certainly needed attention! FWIW, I didn't have a condenser for this, so I robbed one off a 682 parts machine. It cranked, that's all I can say as of now. Checking stock, I don't have any points of condenser for the K series on hand--need to put them on "the list".
