Is your cutting edge hitting before the skid shoes touch the ground? That would cause some serious drag. I run a 45" blower on the front of my 1641 and don't have nearly as much weight as you and I very seldom spin a tire. I'm running 23x10.5x12 turfs with 2 link chains with 65lbs of weight on each tire.
