The leak is probably the gasket between the hydro pump and transaxle. Common problem. If not that, one of the trunion shaft seals or the input or output shaft seal. The brakes probably need adjustment...they aren't going to magically fix themselves. The 125 rear is the same, but you can easily fix the one that's in there now.
