Good thing is you can get a used carb, or a china carb from ebay.

Post what you need and one of the guys here might be able to fix you up with one,--- or one of our sponsors @ the top of the page.

Usually a person just rounds off the screwdriver slot, but I've been guilty of having some that just wouldn't come loose. I've made a stubby screwdriver that I sandwich between vice jaws so it won't back out, and still had problems.
See if there is a number on the damaged jet, as some carbs have one.Not only is the jet sized, but the cross holes in the tube are sized also.

You are not the first, and I guarantee you are not the last to do that.
