I bought a wooden bar stool and set the engine on that.
for when I'm working on a vertical shaft motor I drilled a 2" hole in the center of it.
I recently bought a tool cart from
HFT that I'm going to put a piece of plywood to the top and use for an engine stand
I mostly am doing this to make it easier to move around (wheels) and the cart is 2'x3' where the stool is only about 18" circle.
I put the top tray on upside down so I wont be working in a hole
