I recall the same thing about the parts diagram being wrong and somewhere ( likely here ) seen the corrected version, I may have it copied or noted it somewhere and I'll try to look for it tomorrow and send it if/when I find it !
I think my 108 had a hatefully worn/grooved/taper on it where the throw-out bearing slides and after replacing the driveshaft things aligned better and clutch worked much smoother without breaking the teaser spring !
