I am using Hy-Tran in my DanCo 2149 mounted on a Restored 149.
After the initial purge when 1st assembled after restoration, No issues at all with performance and/or foaming.
It will be slow when started in cold temps no matter what oil you use.
The filter on a 2149 is mounted to the valve body.
