Default Kats magnetic heater

I've always had fun trying to start my 147 in the winter due to it being a hydro....I've put a battery tender on it and that helps, and have contemplated putting a magnetic heater on the rear end to help starting. I finally broke down and bought one- sticks nicely to the bottom of the rear end. Bought a kats from TSC.

The temp of the rear end before I started heating it was 37. While heating the heater case was about 140 and after 2 hours was 51. Granted this is the exterior of the rear end and not the fluid itself.....after heating for 2 hours and although the ambient air temp was 45 the engine kicked right off.

I'm impressed. I think it'll do good when it really is put up to the test.
