Some well meaning merchants substitute a "will fit" switch that in theory, functions, but not as designed/specified by the equipment manufacture.

Well boy, y'all just put this here part on and it will work fine. Now the wipers will work when y'all turn the headlights on, but it is not a problem as long as it is raining.
Oh, and y'all will have to open the glove box so the heater blower motor will be able to defrost the windshield but that is only a problem in the winter in icy conditions.
But y'all will be able to drive yer vehicle to work just fine.

Oh George.. Your absolutely correct. The direction the thread went was just a little confusing is all.. The thread sounded like it was blaming the harness a little.. I understand why the harness was brought into subject now .
