Here are a few pictures. I got the engine for $80. The guy I work with sold it to me, and said it ran fine until the mower deck was shot, and the driveline was gone. He kept the 17 hp and scrapped the rest of the tractor. Says this engine is out of a Ford garden tractor that had a 60" mower, but could not recall what model. I looked at Tractor Data, and seem to believe this engine could be from a 1983 -1986 Ford LGT-17. I also got the dash with all instruments and controls, along with the engine wire harness.

Upon first glance, it appears to me that the engine base ( engine mount locations ) looks identical to the other Series Two I have - said to be from a IH 782 ( in favor of a Mag 18 ) . However, the flywheel appears different when looking at where the Cub drive hub would mount. A side from the actual flywheel plastic screen, my best guess is that all engine tin and components are not missing.
