Yea, I know I have not produced. But, still this 1450 is still my favorite one in the fleet! I want to take my time on painting the engine, and do a nice job with that. Finish the custom propeller shaft with dual flex joints at each end, and paint. I'm not painting the tractor, but recently thought about getting a new, big tent to use as a paint booth with ventilation.
My brother now has the cub bug, and the shop to set up a great place for painting. Just to get some use out of my new Firestones, I swapped them over to my model 72 ( graced the cover of CC Magazine Winter edition ) . I don't mind at all having the larger turf tires back on the 1450. I would have to say, that my 1450 in going the plow set-up direction, which I would love to attend one day.
I do need to pick up a little here, thank you for asking about it! Cub Cadets are for keeps!
