I like those live traps, if you get a friendly cat or desirable creature, you can always let it go.
With a conibear trap, that option does not exist.
I have learned you can catch wood chucks without bait.
just locate near a burrow/den, they are curious and walk right in.
Try it, you will be surprised.
I just hate it when I catch a skunk, it is never an odorless situation.
