Does anyone have an opinion on using a Drive Shaft Coupling Chrome Ball on a 149? I got the idea I needed one, so I bought one. Now I believe they started with the QL. Seems like it couldn't hurt, but maybe it could? thanks

You have a spare for when you get a QL.
The end of the driveshaft that goes to the rear end / pump coupler is 3/8". The pump coupler has a hole to accept that 3/8" diameter.
The QL ball is 5/8"
