On my 129, in order to separate the tractor, I found it necessary to temporarily remove a rear wheel in order to provide enough clearance to get that pin out (transaxle can't be moved back without the lift lever out of the way). Planning on doing the same in reverse to rejoin the transaxle to the frame unless there is an easier way. (?) Perhaps I did more work than I needed to do in also disconnecting and removing the lift bar.
