I've had shoulder surgeries so when you get closer, I can let you in on all the "fun" you'll have going thru the rehab after having a tendon reattached. You'll be sleeping in a recliner for about 6 weeks ( not supposed to move when sleeping / recovering ). We have a Berkliner brand sofa that reclines with extending footrest. That worked well for me.

Hoping the shoulder surgery won't be so bad--supposed to be just stitching up the torn tendon. Its only partially torn and not pulled off the bone. Arthroscopic is what they are saying now, but still 6 weeks in a sling.
