Yeah, I'm glad all the lights are intact but for some reason the headlights are held in with retainers made from an old license plate. Works, for now, but looks like crap when the hood is up. I will deal with that during the restoration. Everything else looks original except for the retainers.
I now see what the non-charging problem might be. The voltage regulator, being mounted so close to the battery, is very badly corroded. Might not be the problem, but I guess a good place to start, knowing the starter/generator is good. Wonder how interchangeable the regulator is with others?
I hope to get started checking this 149 out very soon. I'd like to hear it run for the first time.
