hey zippy1, not having the wealth of knowledge and experience these other guys have, i took their advice and changed mine out. i found a ton of crud and potential problems. what looked like maybe the blending of multiple trans fluids, (the right one and the wrong one) and the fact that it sat for some time in the heat of summer, then the chills of winter. i tore it all the way down to the bone just to make sure that there were no lingering gobs of goop. i gave it a nice warm bath in parts cleaner, and i'm waiting on some new gaskets and orings. i can't wait to see how well it performs. if you can, take some pics of your operation. i'm sure there are a few people out there that haven't seen this done or what to look for.
