You can convert the 44c to a 44a (for use on a WF or QL) by just changing the middle pulley. The 44c uses a 5/8 inch belt (because that's the 82 series' PTO size) while the 44a uses 1/2 inch. Need the 1/2 pulley on the center spindle. I got one from ccspecialties.org.
