I ended up doing 2 switches ("run" on/off and magneto ground on/off) and a push-to-start and it is a pretty clean look and I think they will last a long time. They also have weather covers over the buttons.
Aw, a "custom" setup, to each his own, @ least you know what is needed if one ever wanted to return to"as built".
What upsets me is aftermarket suppliers that sell an Ign switch that "cross references" to multiple numbers but the switches are wired differently or lack a position like subbing a 3 position switch where a 4 position one is needed.
It is confusing to a person that is knowledgeable, much less to a person that
is not familiar with schematics.
