Usually those style coils have separate secondary winding's for each plug.
But one primary winding inducing the current in them.
I'm thinking if you just splice the plug wires together, the current will take the least path of resistance, and not fire both plugs @ the same time, just firing the least resistance plug.
As mentioned, there are other coils that are lesser price than OEM klub kibbits
