Welcome.. In addition to the Owners Manual, you will also need the Chassis Service Manual, IH GSS-1497 w/Revision 2 and the Engine Service Manual IH GSS-1484-2, Engine, Fuel and Electrical Systems (ONAN), and the Cub Cadet Equipment Parts Manual for your Deck and the Snow Thrower, as well as other pieces of equiment, IH-CPE-2. These manuals are available at your friendly Forum Sponsor: Binder Books ... Just click on the pretty colored box at the top of the page and order them... Onan (bought by Cummins and are no longer supported by them) engine parts are getting pretty hard to find so I recommend that you search early and late before you need anything... a fuel pump and a carburetor kit are recommended. Change the engine oil and engine oil filter now and then often... Likewise with the Hydrostatic Transmission... Change the fluid and filter now and then follow the change recommendations in your Operator's Manual. I strongly recommend that you only use a genuine Cub Cadet hydraulic filter and Hy-Tran Hydraulic Transmmission fluid from a Case-IH dealer. Cub Cadet has the exact same stuff called Hydraulic Transmission Fluid (HY-Tran is copyrighted and they can't use the name) but is a good bit pricier.
