run away
Most of the "run away" can be corrected when the trunnion is repaired. I have a 1650 & 1450. that I have repaired the trunnion, replaced the springs and removed the play from the linkages and they do very well in holding their speed up and down hills. Very little to no lever adjusting while on hills.
