I put new points/condenser and a new plug in it tonight. Tomorrow it's getting the new ignition switch to correct the charging issue. I should have new valve cover gaskets on Friday to fix the oil leak. After that it should be ready to mow.

Have you actually traced the oil leak to the valve cover gaskets?
