The use of headlights depends on how you use your cub cadet. Whenever I am plowing or throwing snow, it gets dark in the winter around 5 or 5:30 in my geographic location, so the headlights (and tail lights) help for me to be seen by traffic if I am along the curb or turning around in part of the street or traveling to my neighbors sidewalk to help them out, so it is a MUST for safety that I leave them on. It is always better to have them, than to NOT have them.
