The previous owner let it sit outside the last 3 years. I'm trying to get it running but I can't seem to get it to fire. First off, there is no spark. It turns over easily but just won't fire up. When doing a little searching, I found that two of the wires on the voltage regulator are not connected. I looked up a wiring diagram, but the wires on the tractor have to difference in color. Can someone help me to figure out where to plug those in correctly? And would that be my issue with no spark? If not any suggestions? Thanks.

I had the same trouble with my 127 about a month ago. It sat for around 5 yrs. The points were more than likely the problem but the coil was suspect as well and the black wire from the Ign switch to the coil, it was deteriorated. I put a new wire on and new coil, points, plug & condenser and it fired up on the first revolution.
Start with the points first. Hopefully that will be your problem. The problem with the wires having no color is they fade after time. Good luck!
