I got everything off. PTO was really easy. I don't know if thats good or bad.
So here's what I see the right side of the keyway is flared on the top. The left side is fine. You can see that the key reflects that. When I rotate the key to put the full 1/4" on the bottom and slide the pulley back on it's tight. So with a new key I think that will be OK. Looking at the PTO from the bottom to the top something looks wrong. I can see the split ring is not right. Going to take the PTO apart now and see yet another problem. Heres a shot of the bolt head the pulley was rubbing
