My 982 with 18 mag will die after about a minute with mower deck engaged. Shut PTO off and pull choke out and will limp it back to garage. Rebuilt carb last winter. Pulled it off looked good, cleaned all passages. Changed fuel filter. Put new gaskets on manifold. Still have same symptoms. I know pulling choke to keep running is indicative of carb issues, I just don’t see it. On a side note the fuel pump leaked out the other night, I installed a shut off valve and drained the oil/gas. Not sure if the pump could be the culprit?
